Jim Lancaster, President of Lancaster's BBQ Inc, first experienced the food service business in 1964 in Louisburg, North Carolina. This took place in a little restaurant named Boulevard Drive Inn. Breakfast, lunch and plate dinners were served, as well as hot dogs and hamburgers. "Curb Hops" waited on the customers there. This was the beginning of thirty eight years of many pounds of good hot food being served to a whole lot of people. Yes, through the thirty-eight years, Lancaster's BBQ has gained a lot of knowledge and valuable experience.
